Terms of Use

These terms apply to the CLEARSTILL iPhone and Apple Watch app. Purchases made through the App Store are also covered by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which takes precedence where the two differ.

What CLEARSTILL is

CLEARSTILL is a habit-change companion for people choosing to drink less alcohol. It records what you tell it, shows you your own progress, and offers content to help in the moment.

It is not medical care. It is not a medical device, not treatment, not therapy, and not a substitute for professional advice. It does not diagnose anything and does not assess whether it is safe for you to stop drinking. If you may be physically dependent on alcohol, stopping suddenly can be dangerous — speak to a doctor first. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.

Your account and your data

There is no account to create. Everything you record is stored on your device and syncs only through your own private iCloud. You are responsible for your device and your Apple ID; if you lose access to both, we cannot recover your history, because we never had a copy of it. See the Privacy Policy for the detail.

CLEARSTILL Plus

The core of the app is free and stays free: logging days, all progress figures and statistics, craving support, tonight planning, morning check-ins and Marks never check whether you have paid.

CLEARSTILL Plus adds:

• The full Drink Lab — 23 further recipes on top of the 17 free ones.
• Patterns — what your own history says about your days.
• The morning comparison.

Plus is offered as a monthly subscription, an annual subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency before you buy.

Billing and renewal

Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID and renew automatically at the end of each period unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period.

Cancelling

Manage or cancel a subscription in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or via the App Store. Cancelling stops future renewals; the subscription stays active until the end of the period you already paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Refunds

Purchases are processed by Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple rather than by us. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. Consumers in the EU, UK and other jurisdictions may have additional statutory rights that these terms do not affect.

Acceptable use

The app is for your own personal use. Do not attempt to reverse-engineer it, resell it, or use it in a way that breaks the law. The recipes, written content, name and visual identity remain ours; you are welcome to make the drinks, but not to republish the content as your own.

Availability and changes

Content — daily cards, craving interventions and recipes — is delivered over the network and can change. The app keeps working offline using the content it already has. We may add, change or remove features over time. If a change would remove something you paid for, we will say so in the app before it takes effect.

Liability

CLEARSTILL is provided as-is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
